Domino’s-Style Chicken Parm Sandwich Copycat

A crispy, cheesy, and saucy chicken sandwich loaded with marinara, mozzarella, Parmesan, and tucked inside a toasted garlic buttered hoagie roll. Perfect for a hearty lunch or dinner!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 crispy chicken breasts store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup marinara sauce warmed
  • cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 soft hoagie rolls or sub sandwich buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • fresh basil leaves optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the hoagie rolls open without cutting all the way through.
  • Brush the inside of the rolls lightly with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  • Toast the rolls open-faced on a baking sheet for 3–5 minutes until slightly crisp.
  • Place one crispy chicken breast inside each toasted roll.
  • Spoon marinara sauce generously over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the sauce.
  • Return the sandwiches to the oven and bake for 5–7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with fresh basil if desired, close the sandwiches, and serve hot with extra marinara for dipping.

Notes

For an extra kick, try adding a sprinkle of red pepper flakes on top of the marinara before baking. These sandwiches are best enjoyed immediately but can be reheated in the oven to retain crispiness!
